Hi folks
Got a estimate to sort out, so get in touch with builder about floor screed
Yes it's anhydrite but this is a new type that does not need sanding(haven't we al heard that one )
Alpha tech
Anyone heard of this ?
Just more mis informed builders
most likely alpha hemi hydrite and the ones i see are low laitance but it's there and needs sanding. unfortunately the screeding company gives poor advice on this so might not be the builder's fault this time:eek:

On a alpha hemi at the mo, Tom mayhew screed, no laitance whatsoever, none. Obviously given it a bit of a going over with scraper and wire brush to get plaster snots off but other than that it’s ready to go, dry as a bone, anhyfix , decoupler and away
Mate, all i do is Mayhew screeds and believe me they have laitance. try sanding them and you'll see. He did briefly change the colour of sand and it was very easy to tell then.
