I want a new blade for my wet saw. Now the marcrist and the ruby cpc2, blades are around the same price, what is the better blade? has anyone used both blades? Was one better than the other?

Cheers, Edd

Hi Edd,

Sorry m8 I don't use both but i purchased the Marcrist CK850 from tradetiler and I must say it's very good. Just done a 30m2 floor using 500 x 500 porcs and it didn't disappoint so for that reason the Marcrist gets my vote.

Recently moved over to the right lines slysa blades, excellent for the money easily comparable to the marcrist and nortons blades that I used for donkeys.

Eddie, I've had a cpc in my machine for about 2 years now, still plenty of life in it, I'll deffo replace with a cpc2 when the time comes. Whenever I've used a saw with the marcrist blade I've found the cut a bit ragged and glaze chips more, altho' it tends to cut faster. My recommendation would be the cpc2:thumbsup:
