washboy sponge

has anyone else used these washboy sponges RAIMONDI One Piece 'Sweepex' Sponge Float 12x26 RA395UG | eBay i find them to be the best i have used in ages i have grouted over 400m2 with one of them and its still gd as new so anyone out there looking for a decen washboy sponge i highly recomend theese

I'v used them and they are great, i'm now using sigma washboy sponges.

i like the sigma washboy sponges but i think they'd be better if they were segmented

You could be right Mike, they are a little bit fat too... come out over edges a little.

are they not glued to the float like normal Mike?

I use Genesis washboy sponges, just cos it's easy to swap sponges (on account they are fixed by velcro to handle), but I don't believe they are any cheaper than the pre-glued units so will probably be switching sponge / units soon.

are they not glued to the float like normal Mike?

the sponge is glued to a plastic backing which then clips into the handle section. looks easy to change but i've not had to yet as i still have my original washboy sponge and the sigma
