Looking at a floor on Monday that kitchen fitter reckons is "a bit rough" after tiles have been removed (by someone else).
My questions are regarding self levelling compound. Never used the stuff before, but think I need to learn sharpish.

Is it OK to use if units are in, but kickboards are removed? i.e will it go all over the place & be difficult to control?
Is it just a matter of pouring it on the flow & then pushing it where it needs to go?

Thanks for any help:thumbsup:

1st read the instructions and follow what they say regarding the product.

It is easy when you get the hang of it. I prefer 2 part leveller (latex), seems better to me. Pour it on and smooth over the floor working your way out of the room. I use a spiked roller sometimes if its worth getting it out the van. This gives a lovely finish. Wipe any splashes from units and skirting etc as you go.
