tiles on tiles

hi everybody

i am going to price a job next week the lady has told me she wants me to put new tiles on top of the old ones is their any downfalls to this or could anyone give me any other advice

Sound the tiles out and if they are all solid then you should be ok, wash down any old grease or grime (sugar soap is good for this), I would use a AA type 2 adhesive when tiling over tiles. Do not lay new tile exactly on top of existing ones and allow for extra drying time.
