tiled bath panel access

anyone share any top tips on tiled access in bath panels??did one a while ago using the schlueter magnets but never got to see it in useThe magnet kit was easy to use but thought it was a bit heavy once grouted...

tiles are nat.stone mosaics access panel is 12mm ply about 350x450.

how would you do it?

Hi

magnets and catches sound good - but why not cut the hatch out add a small frame behind and silicone in rather than grout. Looks great, cheap and easy to stanley knife out on the very odd occassion you need access. Worked for me

hey, im about to replace my bath panel with tiles, im not a professional tiler but going to give it a go! what material should I use as my backing board? i heard there was some sort of waterproof mdf type material, any recommendations?!
