I am building a house, the external leaf being a fine grained sandstone from Durham. A significant quantity of stone has to be cut and I would appreciate advice on which disc (manufacturer and code please) will give long life in the experience of subscribers to this forum. In addition, should it be used wet to extend life?

Any thoughts on the best saw would also be welcome. The Stihl saw model TS400 has been recommended to me.

Thank you, Robert.
