stone carpet is a resin floor with marble chippings, the chippings are mixed with the resin and this is trowelled onto the substrate depending on the finish and texture this is sometimes ground down as per terazzo my brother in law used to be a rep for a concrete company who did these types of resin floors prices for domestic homes are between £80 and £150 per sq m flame textured granite is normal granite put under a flame gun this roughs the surface of the granite making it non slip contact a stone company like pisani or colourfords who will give you material prices, labour rates you will have to decide for yourself
