Stepped slate cladding

Got to seal them with ltp mattstone. The sheets are all the same pattern so just wasn't sure to line a thick one next to a thin one or if it will look better totally random

We used something very similar in a pub refurd a few months ago.

When we tiled the front of the bar & i stood back you could see a line carrying up over 4/5 sheets as we just cut the end off square.

Next time we do them i would stagger all joints even though they are very hard to see. We used a grey addy for the same reason jonny states.

We sealed with stainstop. bought a hozelock pressurised bottle & i sealed 15m2 in under a minute, perfect for the job.

And i allways clean slate with fine wire wool before seal

sorry cant find the other set which were exactly the same tiles but in next plot , but those were laid on top of each rather than staggered. think you will see from this that you dont really seea repeat or least i dont think you do.
