Ile give it a go then without any lubrication. I just assumed, as you can't do that with your finger.

Jeez, I must admit, internal corners still fox me. I try to do the down runs on the first occasion, then go back later (once touch dry) to do the other floor / ceiling bisecting pass.

if corners still have manufactured edges I tend to use licked finger, if corners have cut edges I usually snip the corner off a glazing packer and use that as a profiling tool, (usually wet that with a sponge first)

Licking your finger introduces protein to the mix before the silicone has cured which in turn harvests the dreaded black mould! Never lick the finger when siliconing
