Should I use DItra?

Guys

I have a floor to tile with 600x300 porcelains in a brick bond (surprise!)
The floor substrate was half concrete half timber.
The timber side had noggins fixed between the joists & new 22mm T&G chipboard flooring. On top of that we glues & screwed 10mm Jacko boards down. The whole room was then SLC'd to bring it all up to level.
I will be putting a grout joint on the junction of the 2 substrates.
We have noticed some hairline cracks in the SLC but nothing major.
Question is would you use Ditra over the whole area or is that not necessary?

Many thanks

Yep decouple the lot and use a colour matched Silicon in the joint where the substrates meet and around the perimeter. Did you carry the backerboards over the join, glued and screwed into the concrete?

Couldn't really because levels were all over the place. Have a roll of Ditra so will stick that down. Cheers
