Hi All,

I'm refurbing our kitchen a home and had a couple of guys in to template a granite oven surround, I wasn't around and they obviously just dragged the oven out across the slate floor, pic of the scratch attached..

I'm laying more slate in the new area up to the existing floor so will obviously clean and reseal everythin but does anybody have a suggestion on how I can colour the scratch? I saw an old thread suggesting WD40 or stone oil but thought I'd ask anyway. DSCN1642.jpg

Hi.. give the floor a good clean and strip back and then seal the floor with a colour enhancer, this will darken down the scratch... not much you can do with scratches on riven slate..but colour enhancer will darken it and be harder to notice than the fresh white mark you have now.

Thanks Dave appreciate the response, I'll give that a try.
