Hello,

As part of my next job I have been asked to fit a bath screen to an existing tiled bath area. The problem is that there is a raised border fitted and the screen won't fit tight to the tiles above and below unless it's chopped out.

What would be the best way of going about this?

I was thinking of using a diamond disc on my angle grinder to cut the section and then try to chisel it out. Possibly then making good with grout before fitting the screen.

How does this sound?

If you've got a fein it would produce less dust

Thanks for the replies.

I've not got a fein - YET !

I am a bit of a kit freak and it's on my (long) list of new tools I've mainly seen carpenters using them but they do look like a very useful tool for tiling.

Mark.
