Ive been asked to price a floor in a bathroom. only small.

its just floorboards at the moment.

If i put 18mm of plywood down then adhesive then tilles, theres gona be a 30mm step down to the carpet of the landing??? What shall i do or suggest to the customer. Or is there nothing i can do about it.

Also the toilet pan and sink pedastel are on the floorboards??

help please, thanks

ahhh

so whats the procedure with these as ive not heard of them?

like are they screwed at 200mm gaps like ply? do they get primed etc.

also how would i finish the now smaller step off, i mean when your on the landing would you see the edge of the tile and the cement board at the doorway?

thanks for your help

screwed down with flexi adhesive also!
then you can get a carpet to tile bar that allows for height difference from most diy stores also think schlueter(spell check) do adjustable ones that dave mentioned not so long ago!
