raimondi bullnosing machine

hi all, i have just done an internal travertine step with 600 by 600 tiles and have created a bullnose finish by hand using a sander and montolit sanding pads to finish it,,,looks good but have just come across a local tile company in my area renting out a raimondi bullnosing machine has anyone used this before and if so do you rate it? also how does everyone else go about creating a bullnose finish on stone?

get yourself a router and then contact zambelis they hae diamond router profiles for stone ,you can then do bullnose ogee and other profiles ,zambelis do all the stone consumables such as blades, polishing powder ,resins etc polishing pads, Apex grange are also good for this kind of stuff

Got a leaflet from probably the same company in peniculk, Never used them but prices seam pretty competitive....Will stick with CTD for now

It would be worth it on a large job but for smaller jobs like steps it wouldnt be worth the time collecting,set up etc, Will stick with belt sander and grinder

I have a lovely ensuite near finished in marble,i have to wait on joiner and plumber now so it couls be a wk or two before i get back but in it i have made 4 corner shelves and nosed them with my grinder then sander with 3 different grits of paper.
Also in same room i rounded the window boards and made the curved steps for the jacuzzi which are nosed too,real nice job but a machine for doing it would be class.

You can get single or double profilers to fit m14 thread to go in a grinder and profile dry...

then finish off with varying grit pads depending on finish..

i had a look at zambelises website,,they have a bullnose grinder head m14 am i correct in thinking this fits direct to the angle grinder to use dry?
