Hi everyone. I'm a DIYer going to redo my bathroom - 4 square meters floor. I have bought ceramic floor tiles, but just found some porcelain ones I prefer. Also, I bought a Powerbase Xtreme 600w wet cutter for the tiles, but after reading these boards wonder whether I should return it. So my questions are:
1) If I keep the ceramic tiles, am I better off with the Xtreme, or should I get one of those manual roller cutters instead (problem is I need a long one because I want to tile in diamond shape, so need 500mm).
2) Is porcelain that much harder to work with? And what would be the right cutter then?
I'm on a budget, so don't want to spend more than 50 quid on a cutter. And hiring is even more expensive than that. Thanks for any advice!
