Hi all, just about to start on a new ensuite, construction is as follows:
Tanked area at one end with aquapanel walls & a Tuff form tray with Koster Aquaproof tanking kit, rest of room will have hardie backer panels on floor & moisture proof plasterboard on walls which I am not intending to skim.
Walls will be tiled with 41 x 26 6mm ceramic tiles & the floor with 30 x 30 porcelain 8mm, apart from the shower floor which will be in mosaics.
Floor will have loose wire underfloor heating cable.
Now, if you haven't dozed off
I was thinking of using BAL apd primer on the walls?, presume I don't need it on the floor? Should I use it on the plasterboard where it adjoins the aquapanel in the wetroom area (I will be using the aquaproof tanking over 300mm of it or so to ensure integrity)?
Was also going to use a single part flexi adhesive, can I use the same one for both floor & walls?
Sorry for so many questions, just want to get it right.
Thank you

Please :disappointed:

I would use insulation boards on floor such as marmox. No need to prime these but advise you self level over top of mat
No need to prime any of the walls (unless where needs to be tanked). Just wipe down with damp cloth or sponge. Priming won't harm though.
Yes you can use the same adhesive for walls & floors
