i am tiling a bathroom with polished marble on to a newly constructed floor. the builder has made a hash of it and is not level( out by 20mm). i want to put levelin compound down....do i add anything to it on to wooden floor boards????

i would, nt slc over a wooden floor for fixing marble,imo
what type of boards are they chip or tongue & groove
