Hi Guys,
Fitted the above matting around bath area and about 1600mm high. I had a heck of a job putting it up before the adhesive dried!
Anyway its up, but I have a few air pockets, what's the best thing to do? I was going to cut around the pockets, lift a flap and then run in some more adhesive, and restick down.
Does this make sense? maybe there's a better way?

best regards..........Campbell

to be honest with you i would redo the job, as the addy has skinned over before the matting has stuck and may not adhere once the weight of the tiles is on

i know its not what you wanted to hear buts its cheaper to replace now than when the tiles are on

Thanks Mike,
but I am only talking about 3 x air pockets, the biggest being maybe 100mm diameter. The rest seems to have stuck pretty well. (I REALLY don't want to redo it)

best regards............Campbell

What adhesive did you use? I'll be fitting my matting this weekend but have gone for a non rapid set adhesive - I was concerned about the adhesive going off too quick as I don't want to rush the job.

Hi JRM,
I used BAL FLEXI Rapid fix, this was on the advice of TOPPS. I had some left from the floor.
This was nearly a problem, because, as the name suggests, this adhesive goes off pretty quickly!
I have just about got away with it, I have had to patch a couple of places but the tiles are fixed fast.
Use a normal adhesive (the BAL MOSAIC FIX that I am using for the wall tiles seems good)
Hope this helps, good luck!

best regards...........Campbell
