I only found this forum yesterday and im glad i did. I am an engineer by trade but as i work 3 day shifts i want to start earning some extra cash on my days off instead of wasting my days. I went on a 4 day tiling course about a month ago and really enjoyed it. I have recently persuaded my mate to let me tile his kitchen floor/wall and conservatory floor as my first job, brave bloke! Then hopefully get more and more work as time goes on. Oh yeah my name is Colin from Preston, Lancs. :thumbs_up:

I booked on one with the Lancashire School of Plastering and Tiling in Preston purely because it was the nearest one to me.

Well after reading some threads it doesnt sound like it covers as much detail as ne for example. Having said that from a person who was a total beginner i would feel relatively confident doing a job for a friend or a member of the family, i suppose like anything you get better with experience.
