Genesis Pro 600 or Rubi TR600

Genesis or Rubi? just back from Tenerife, great but getting very quiet,,used a Rubi TS out there, need a cutter here and not sure if it will be long term or not, read about the Genesis Pro 600, £95 delevered, less than half the price of Rubi TR600,,, Rubi is a great tool but never used Genesis but reading on here not too bad for the cash,,,,,any thoughts for and against,,,cheers

I've got a genesis 400, ok for general cutting and diagonals but never used the tr600.

I have used the Genesis and it's a good cutter, but I found it didn't stand up to the usage it got in my store (Which is no where near as much as it would get from a tradesman)

Only used a RUBI on a few occasions and it was great, but don't no about lasting power as haven't used one for any prolonged period

The problem we had with the Genesis was when pressing down on the breaker, the rails would flex quite alot. Over time (6 - 8 months) it has caused them to run slightly (2mm) off. This may be attributed to user error :lol:

Rubi all the time for me, altho I've never used either of the two models mentioned:smilewinkgrin:

I use Genesis super pro 600 with Rubi scorers no probs at all.
