I've not noticed it. I did notice on cheap aluminium, the heat would craze the surface, but if you're gentle it shouldn't burr on the face of the cut.

the Screwfix ones, find them ok but try to avoid all trims

Aluminium tends to bur. it is very different to cutting steel. Usually that thinner the slotting disc the better the cut.

I have never used much trim. But when I do, I use a compound saw.

We also use a Bosch chop saw with a DeWalt Aluminium cutting blade which works perfectly but obviously it may be overkill for a lot of applications.
