That depends on what you set it at..

Mine is £100... but they deal with it all.. no hassle if the repair isn't upto what the customer expects ... That is what Liability is for..


You could just say NO.. You didn't do it and then get your name slagged off to whoever she bumps into or go the insurance route and get it done properly or even replaced..


The decision is yours.. but it is worth looking as well if you are adamant you have not done anything that could have caused it.

Thanks guys, been out to have a look and its a tiny chip, maybe 1mm by 1mm. could have been made by the tooth of a saw. She's phoned round and got somone to fix it for £40 so just gonna give her that and get the receipt from the guy who fixes it. Keeps the customer happy and i can handle £40, slightly over charged on job anyway!
