I've a rectangular room of 37m2 to tile using 100x15 wooden floor effect porcelain tiles, which are of great quality ! I tiled the landing and hallway in a brick bond pattern, and was wanting to do something different for the client as they've given me pretty much all tiling decisions and choices to make ! I know I'll be giving myself extra work by laying double herringbone or , square basket weave parquet but the floors are great is no complaints their! So has anyone laid these patterns with similar tile sizes before , and if so any pictures would be greatly appreciated ! These are the tiles in question

I'd go the same as Tommy! Follow the straight tiling from the hallway into the room and use as a 'frame' border, then do the middle in Herringbone .

Joe Hillhead done this, looked well I thought.

They look well on the 45 with a border too.

Liking the look of this 45 degree with borders. I've never been asked to do anything like this, so was wondering what the tips are about planning layout and the borders etc?

Made a start on the floor today, set out for herringbone pattern , and decided against a border around the room here's how it's looking so far, only got 10m2 laid though!
