"A"-- frame stands

Hi all,

Anyone know if you can get A frame stands or tables that would allow dry cutters to sit whilst cutting smaller size tiles for kitchens etc instead of having it on the floor and bending up and down all day. I dont want to put it on someones new worktop even on top of a dustsheet as i wouldn't want to take any chances.
Does anyone use anything like this or workmate for instance?

Black and Decker workmate for me, but got one of those platforms as well for standing on.

I have three steve...

1. electric cutter ( outside )

2. hand cutter ( dry )

3. As you say to stand on or for putting tile's on and bucket of sticky ...

The "A" frames as you mentioned are ok as well but you need a piece of thick ply etc to use a top....

Bloomin eck Dave thats nearly 150 smackeroos just for stands but suppose one will do for starters.

Or i could just bring the wife along and get her on all fours and rest on her cos she does nowt else.

Could even use her backcrack as a holding slot for me next tile

I paid £25 for mine from B&Q.....wharehouse......make sure you wear rubber gloves if she is goin to hold the tiles for you like that....:lol:

tesco had the stands as well £29.99. Comes in handy for short arse's like ma self.
