I am just doing a quote for tiling a 30 square metre floor with 600 x 600mm ceramic tiles. They will be on top of piped underfloor heating incorporated into ply. I am quoting in BAL pourable thick bed flexy with BAL grout plus gt1

I haven't tiled this size tile before is there anything i should take into account of because of there size? I already have a TS60, would i need a larger wet cutter?

Any advice would be great.

Your wet cutter may be ok as it is, obiously the bed the tile sits on may be small compared to the tile but if you can just use some bits and bobs to stabalise the tile as you feed it through the blade your cuts will be A1. Generally you'll be fine to treat them like a normal tile. BAL superflex might be an easier grout to use than the BAL Grout with GT1 admix as the admix tents to make the grout dry on the tile quicker and is harder to get off, so do small areas at a time if it is you need the admix option.

If you've never tiled with large tiles before you might find they take a bit longer to lay, just due to them being awkward to move around once fixed due to the huge amount of suction they have once bedded in wet adhesive.

Other than that you should be ok.

oh, your TS60 may not fit the tiles in if they had to be cut on an angle. At 45 degrees they would be about 750 - 800? or so. So make your setout easy for you by having them square to everything possible. Else you'll be on the wet cutter all day.

Good luck. Nice job you got there!
