What is your preferred method?
Ok so I have a 3m x 2m bathroom to fit out & have just ripped the floor up back to joists. What is your preferred method of preparation. The tiles are 450 x 450 porcelain. 22mm NMP Chipboard & tile backer Chipboard & antifracture Ply & Ditra.....etc etc? -

evening chaps, what do you prefer at wall / ceiling abutment joint ? grout silicone seal caulk seal 'nothing' just a shadow gap i.e. no grout / sealant personally I like #4 - as long as the cuts are within 1mm tolerance of each other.- Jimny Cricket

What to use to tile onto plywood?

Wet Tiles, Which Tiles, What Problems - Ceramics
What are the issues with having a wet tile? If water is getting into the tile (Ceramics, ignoring faults) then it must go through the grout and I assume into the adhesive (is this right?). Crack in newly fitted travertine tile. What would cause this?
Tiling nightmare continues... These were fixed at the start of the month and in the last few days this crack has appeared. I think a crack (or two) might be appearing in the tile above too. We're not in a good place with this. I've no confidence in our tiler's ability (see previous thread)... -
