As it's a brushed trim you could try rubbing it with a scotch brite pad. Try on an off cut to see how it finishes.
Take the protective plastic film off.........
Also, it's not exactly covering the edge there is it?
Get it out (carefully) and replace with one 2mm deeper!
Why use trim on Natural Stone?
How would you get it out without damaging the marble tiles?
Thank you "Kieks" for answering "timeless John's" question on my behalf, are there any other constructive suggestions about possible repair options ( eg. heard of brushed anodising as a possibility?) Or an easy way or tool for removal of trim without causing damage?
