Alreeeet guys

Im quoting for a conservatory floor and small part of a wall. Never done a conservatory so is there any differenece to a normal floor.
Do i need to use different setting out techniques and do i need to buy more suitible material.

If for example it was on concrete floor thats level and its about 10-13sm how much would you add on for materials. Cheers

you should get 3.5 to 4m a bag and just set out from the centre i love them nothing in your way just bang them down

Due to temperature changes in a conservatory I'd be suggesting flexible adhesive. Though it may not always be required. I can't quote on prices as I don't know them these days.

Setting out will be the same, usually easier than most floors.

Get to know the customer a bit, ask lots of questions, about the tile type, tile size, tile colour, talk about the grout colours or something for a bit, notice the light quality and perhaps suggest a tile colour / style based on that? Checkout what the taste is like as you walk through the kitchen and perhaps suggest something similar. If you work with stone perhaps go through some stone options as it's a good floor to go at with stone if the layout seems simple. If so, then talk about the sealers and what-not.

Good luck mate.

i've done a few conny's, concrete floor i just use rapid set, bag does about 4-5m2, BUT i ask the lady of house if she would prefer full tiles from door way then work off that or just go with wot suits you m8, i like conny's there so simple as long as floor is level etc.!

didnt get the job anyway as they got another tiler in before me that offered £130 less than me. good luck to him working on £80 a day, im not
