What to do at door frame

Hello, I'm tiling a bathroom at home and the O.H wanted the tiles up to the edge of the door frame. I'd normally tile up to architrave but I ripped it off without much thought. As i was scraping the paint off the walls today i had a closer look and I'm not sure it will work out too well? Any suggestions very much appreciated. (Tried uploading a pic but had no luck?)
