do i have to seal travertine before fixing or fix then seal before grouting, or after and 1 coat or 2... and can it go straight onto plasterboard?

I seal after laying then seal after grouting, Be very clean, Keep a bucket of clean water and a good sponge with you at all time's, Make sure the plasterboard is fixed well, seal with bal apd and use powdered addy and be cautious of weight ratio's of the tile on plasterboard.

Make sure they are clean and free of dust/grit etc before sealing....or you will end up with a rough textured finish......
