There seems to be mixed opinion regarding where to silicone a shower screen.

My personal view was "external edges" to prevent water getting trapped thus giving it a path back into the tray

Any and all answers appreciated.

Is it :-

A. External edges
B: Internal edges
C: Both.
D: none of the above.

Regards.

External as suggested/ recommended by most of the shower manufacturers. If you silicon inside, where does the water go that hits the door?.

Doesn't matter where you think it should go, always follow what the shower enclosure manufacturer says.

sometimes inside, sometimes outside, sometimes inside and then a couple of inches up from the bottom outside.

Just Rizzle

do as the manufacture recommends as any thing else will void any kind of warenty

External.........

If left to the plumber........it'll be external, internal, up the wall......over the screen, and then on the door frame.
