My Rubi 250/850 top plate at the near end rusted to bits so I had a couple of new ones profile cut in 3mm stainless steel. Undo 3 Allen screws to take it off, take off 4 nuts underneath the ruler guides, put ruler guides on SS replacement, and 3 Allen screws to refix. Job done.
The stainless steel spare is on eBay for £45, which is what it cost me. Collect from Ashbourne or will ship in the price.
I even did a little video (link on eBay) to show how to replace the part.
