Morning all, thought I would say hello as I have only just come across this web site....very informative and interesting. I have been contemplating a change in direction for the last 6 months or so and will be arranging visits to a couple of tiling training centres in the coming weeks. One question at this stage if any one can answer, please. Would it be a good idea to also take a basic plumbing course too? Having looked at the pics of finished jobs etc...It seems that a much better finish is achieved if you are able to remove sanitary ware, radiators etc....or do the courses cover this? I am not looking to re-plumb a house! but want to offer a really credible proffessional service if things work out over time.

Hi Redrex - welcome to the forums.

You right about the plumbing. A 1 week course is all you need for this, as it covers the very basics of how to remove / install sanitary ware. Which is all you need.

I went back to college to get my C&G in plumbing, but I also do other plumbing stuff too as well as the tiling.

Good luck 🙂

Welcome to the forums mate, it certainly helps the job if you can remove the sanitary ware, but not a necessity.
