Between £10 to £50 a meter depending on tile type and contract type really, it's that broad. If you had aan on-going contract with a new-build firm for example, you'll find the rates are low but the works is plentyfull and constant. If you have a one-off domestic job fitting porcelain with 5 tile sizes fitting in a pattern and your price includes materials, you'll find the higher end of the questimate above is nearer reality.
Then if you say.... from about the Midlands upwards you're not getting as much per meter as you can down south, especially central london. But then again you're probably going to find you materials, fuel, congestion charges or whatever along with your cost of living will all come in to play too down there.
It's certainly worth a fair living though.
