Plastic ply - Tile Advice

What do ppl think of plastic ply, I do rate it as long as the floor you lay it over is sound and secure, ie floorboards I always cover with 9mm -12 mm ply, I prefer it to detra mat, but interested in other opinions

Never used plastic ply and don't know if I will....

Ive used it on small floors in the past, not used it in yonks, never had a problem.
