Hello Everyone and Merry Christmas.
Very good site, if i may say.

I am from a construction back ground and currently run a small maintenance firm.
I generally sub out my tiling work, but these days more and more of my work seams to leaning towards kitchen and bathroom fitting, so rather than get a firm in(mainly eastern European fixers)would it be beneficial for me to go on a tiling course? or just carry on tiling for myself, and become more proficient and quicker as i go?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Cheers Danny:8:

Hi danny and welcome to the forums....

i would give it ago mate.....the money's better in your pocket at the end of the day..and the tiler will be there short notice so to speak.. lol lol..no waiting around...

Welcome to the forum mate.

There are short tiling courses that teach you a great deal, and as you may already have a good understanding it could be a wise move to sharpen up your tiling skills so you can charge well and pull the jobs off to a high standard.

The jobs that fail are usually down to the fixer and his methods, so ironing all those 'maybe this is right' and 'this is what I heard' fixing methods out can only help you have no failures... and that's a good thing.

Checkout our sponsors to find a good short course. 🙂
