I have been to look at two jobs today via a stone retailer, both jobs they have supplied the natural stone to the customer, and the customer have used there own tiler. I had to go a have a look as the customers were not happy with the finish on the stone. And both jobs had the same problem, Grout has not been removed properly from the surface and then sealed. Its a real shame because both jobs the customers have fallen out with the tilers over this, both jobs are very good installations but it was the finish that spoilt it. I can solve the problem for the customers, but if you are a fairly new tiler make sure you get the surface spot less before sealing and dont rush the job even if you have ****ed up on the price.
