was tiling a kitchen splashback couple of weeks ago the son lived with his
mum the son chose the tiles original style two colours
anyway set out started putting the addy on the wall mum comes in
those tiles look lovely as she ran her hand straight through the addy

years ago when working as an apprentice for a large firm , myself and my best mate got lumbered working a weekend in a large house in hampstead.
We were stuck with one of the notoriously grumpy 'old school' tilers on the firm (read grumpy as miserable Git!) he wouldn't ever let you actually do anything just pass him tools and listen to him moan.
Anyway my mate sussed that the best way to get to him was to act as dumb as he treated us. We started a weekend campaign of stupidity, the best being every time he called 'Hammer' and held his hand out behind him for his rubber mallet we passed the claw hammer...he smashed whatever he was fixing every time!!...I can safely say he hated us by sunday night!:lol:
