here one im waiting on.... 800 x 400 x 15 granite (i think) , from porcelainosa.... on skimmed walls, im crapping myself when i need to go in to this toilet as they want me to grout it but i keep putting it off lol
I was doing a job a couple of years ago and the guys that were doing the wetroom spot fixed 22mm thick slate to skimmed walls,,,the slate were 2200 x 900:yikes:, the ceiling was slightly sloped down in the middle so I'm guessing that it's the only thing that's keeping them wedged in place.

All relying on the plaster to hold them up, its getting difficult big tiles and bad walls dont mix when you tell the customer about weight ratio they really dont understand Ive talked myself out of a few jobs regarding this problem just dont want the flack if anything goes wrong.
 
I really wish that weight constraints information was on the tile boxes themselves, with a summary stating not suitable for plaster skimmed walls.
