cleaning up grout

used adhesive/grout in one for the first time last week on own
bathroom, had trouble cleaning it of, is it better to use mixing grout other then ready mixed, and if so which brand of mixing grout would you use.

You would be better off using a bucket of turds than adhesive and grout in one !!!

which grout would you recomend for wet areas.

Most flexible grouts will do. I personally only use Mapei.
Epoxy is the most waterproof & reliable option - but a begger to clean off.
As you know - all wet areas should either be tanked or have waterproof board.
As you also know many customers will not pay for this.
