nowt to do with tiling but my nabours drain blocked up and started over flowing through the manhole (which is on his property) dyn a rod charged him £120 to unblock it and because my drain flows in to it as well he reconds i should pay half.

is he right or is it down to him as its on his property.

It was his drain that blocked not yours? I cant see the reasoning behind it, you didnt cause the blockage did you. He caused the problem and I think hes got a cheek to be asking you for the contribution.

He should be careful what hes stuffing down there next time!

I wouldn't pay....... And shouldn't you local water board or council unblock the drain for free. That's what you pay your council tax and water rates for?
