Hi guys and girls, my wife bought herself one of these android tablets today.I had a play with it and its not bad. The display is really good quality and reasonably fast, wifi works well, and plenty of apps to install if needed. The problem is she wants to run some software that works fine on windows 7 on my laptop. I can upload the install directory by means of a usb flash drive and copy it into the rom of the tablet but i cannot install by means of the softwares setup exe. file when i use the only installation setup app (package installer) on the tablet.It just tells me there is a problem parsing the package.
Does anyone know much about this ...mmm...this:mad2:...stuff!!!?
I know my way around my laptop ok but maybe i need to install some compatibilty app. or installer app. to get this thing to work.
I dont know why she does this to me but my wife knows i will keep working on this till my fingers bleed!!! :yikes:
HELP ME PLEASE OR JUST SHOOT ME (I got that one from JC) BEFORE THEY PUT ME AWAY!!
Will I need to put the micro sd card it requires and run it through that?
I've recently heard of rooting. (that is the tablet) Would that help?
Any help would be really appreciated.
Oh and I have until 7:30 am NZT b4 she gets home from her niteshift.
And no she's not a test pilot at the broom factory!!:lol:
