Main contractors are a pain in the butt

I have just got off the phone from the lady who is over seeing the job we are on. She has picked all the tiles and the cubicles etc for the loo refurb. I finished two of them yesterday, well as far as I was aware I had finished. She wants to know who will be siliconing down the the cubicle sides where they meet the tiles and also who will be siliconing around the loo's?
"The plumber and the vanity unit fitters will be" was my answer.
She just called back and said that neither of them want to as they cant Silicon very well and could I pop up for an hour to do it?

An hour? Its about 6 tubes in each loo in Ivory and white, I dont mind as I will be adding it to the invoice on day rate but why cant these guys learn how to Silicon? Its not exactly rocket science is it.

Typical these days.my main builder has me booked in for two full houses in a couple of weeks.i wonder what shortcuts he will want? Lol.eatin a slow lunch here before grouting then home.ye ha.
