Just wondering what you guys think of £1 a day yell.com advertising is like for generating business

I tried it mate for about a month and a half....no calls so switched it off, itonlymeans thast you come up in the first 3 pages as opposed to being on the 4th to 12th for example. Also the £1 a day is less VAT so in all is £1.18 a day, hope this helps.

They have called me a few time to get me to upgrade from the free listing to a paid advert.

The net version is more expensive that the actual book now.

Thats why they call it Yell, because your phone wont be ringing with work and your be YELLLLLLLING at the phone.

not great for me ..not much back from it ..
quite a lot of running about over a bigger area for not a lot of work..

I am on yell.com and find since being on there is more like a long term thing get around 1 possible call a month paid £176 for the year and have made that back all depends on how far ahead you look at things mate.Have not tried the package you are talking about best of luck any way
