Got a job coming up a 11 sqm kitchen floor with the Terracota tiles. Has anyone got any tips when using these tiles or is it the same as using any other natural stone. Any tips would be welcome

ye ive got one tip wear overalls if your dry cutting i remember i did a foreigner last year a 50 sqm 2 natural terracota on a balcony i came home every night orange. i had to try cut them with an angle grinder as i didnt have a wet cutter it took me ages to tile that balcony wat a nightmare.

but yes quite similar to other natural stone i would persume a good learning experience anyway

Works similar to stone but alot harder more like quarry tiles or brick. A wet cutter would be the go. I generally if pushed for time lay and grout then seal (If Unglazed) I just work very clean. But you could lay seal then grout.

sean abit of advice when using unglazed terracota seal before grouting and after i tried grouting then sealing it took ages to wash the grout off the tiles

We have also cut orange teracotta tiles. Perfect results but as the advice above goes if you dont wet them you end up orange.

I had an orange perma-tan after. They are quite a soft material.
