I set up Simon Brown Stonemasonry in 1994 and ran the business as mainly a fitting only service. Very soon after this I realised some of my customers were getting poor advice as to the stone they should use, so I then offered a supply and fitting service. This soon became the norm and after several happy years operating from home with a selection of small sample boards I opened our showroom in Shaftesbury.
At this time Simali Stone was born and has taken over as the name we are
known by.
