open bags of spf

hiya boys,just a quickie,how long will an open bag of spf stay useable for. Thinking of keeping one in the van for doing bits and bobs.

if the conditions in the van are dry, then when bag is open place it in a bin liner....you will surely use it before it turns. Bal give SPF 12 months shelf life in dry & stable conditions.....Gaz :yes:

keep my extras in a cardboard box in garage with dust sheet over the top.... would these be able to be used also? as i am paranoid about using half a bag of grout on different jobs (colour mixing and all that)

Thanks 4 that Gaz,didn't think it would be that long though.So it's alright 2 use as long as there are no lumps starting to form.
