Hi 3-Fall, Many thanks for the comprehensive reply. No, it is not what I want to hear, but to be honest it is what I expected! The tile adhesive was Topps Tiles Slow Set Flexible Grey. Thanks to others who have responded also. Edd- Edd Barker
