- Tile Frieze Fragment - 13-14th Century - Kashan, Iran.

Nipped to the local Potteries Museum, Hanley, Stoke on Trent. They have a wealth of tile-related info. And lots of examples of timeless and priceless tiles. Here is one from 13-14th Century. Iranian ornamental tile. A guy (who we will write more about soon) was obsessed with such a tile, and brought many examples to the western world. And then started to recreate his own works. Often with the help of 'blanks' from Minton Tiles (now defunct) and Wedgewood (Now Under Administration), Stoke.
